The city of Kota Kinabalu, also locally called as KK, is the state capital of Sabah. It is located northwest coast of North Borneo facing the South China Sea. KK has many names comes before such as Api Api (Fire Fire) and Jesselton. These names reveal its historical background back to the 15th century. To be brief, KK has many influence such as the Bruneian Empire, Japanese, and British. Today, as Sabah grows to be Malaysia’s number one tourism destination, KK city has become the gateway for travellers visiting the Borneo Island. With its historical landmarks and buildings to the numbers of accommodation from local Inns to the International Standard Resorts, KK City is a unique combination of its humble past and its essential present.

11:00 – Visit Signal Hill Observatory and enjoy the bird eye view of Kota Kinabalu City

11:30 – Visit mosque (You can choose city mosque or state mosque according to your wishes.

12:00 – Return to hotel (Lunch at Kota Kinabalu City for tour with lunch)
